By accessing and using CrafterAfter.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Use of the Website

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only and in a way that does not infringe upon or restrict others' use and enjoyment of the website.

3. Account Registration

You may be required to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Product Information and Pricing

Sellers agree to provide accurate product information and pricing.

5. Orders and Payments

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Payments are processed securely through our payment providers.

6. Terms of Sale

Squarespace takes $0.30/item posted.  On items sold under $10, Crafter After receives 10%; items over $10, 15%. 

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and delivery are solely the responsibility of users selling their materials on CrafterAfter.com. Crafter After is not responsible for any shipping related issues. 

7. Returns and Refunds

Please refer to our separate Return and Refund Policy for information on returns and refunds.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is our property and protected by copyright laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or items sold on our website.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Quality Policies

Quality Policies for Crafter After Supplies Exchange

1. Detailed Item Descriptions

Sellers are required to provide:

- Accurate and detailed description of the item and its condition

- Clear photos showing the item's condition (minimum 3 photos)

- Information on any defects, missing parts, or functional issues

- Original retail price (if known) and date of purchase (approximate)

- Brand and model information

- For paints, markers, etc.: Information on remaining quantity/volume

2. Prohibited Items

The following items are not allowed:

- Expired or dried-out materials

- Broken items (unless listed in "For Parts" category)

- Hazardous materials or items that violate shipping regulations

- Counterfeit or knock-off products

3. Hygiene and Cleanliness

- All items must be clean and free from dirt, dust, or other contaminants

- Fabric items must be washed before listing

- Items that cannot be fully cleaned should be clearly noted in the description

4. Packaging and Shipping Standards

Sellers must:

- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit

- Use appropriate packaging materials (e.g., bubble wrap for fragile items)

- Clearly label any liquids or potentially messy items

5. Price Fairness

- Prices should reflect the item's condition and remaining useful life

- Sellers are encouraged to price competitively based on similar listings

6. Return Policy for Quality Issues

- Crafter After will assist in refunds under some circumstances.  Items that are significantly different from their description may be returned for a full refund

- Buyers must provide photo evidence of any quality issues within 3 days of receipt

- Sellers are responsible for return shipping costs in cases of inaccurate descriptions

Shipping Policies

Shipping Policy

1. General Guidelines

Platform Role: Crafter After acts as a facilitator between buyers and sellers. We do not handle shipping or logistics directly.

Seller Responsibilities: Sellers are responsible for shipping items within reasonable timeframes (3-5 days post sale).

2. Shipping Options

Carrier Choice: Sellers may choose their preferred shipping carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS)

Local Pickup: Sellers may offer local pickup as an option, where appropriate.

3. Shipping Costs

Sellers should take into account their shipping fees when pricing/posting their items. Buyers will not incur additional shipping fees when purchasing.

Free Shipping: Sellers may offer free shipping at their discretion.

Combined Shipping: Sellers are encouraged to offer combined shipping discounts for multiple item purchases.

4. Tracking and Insurance

Tracking: Sellers are required to provide tracking information for all shipments, where available.

Insurance: Sellers are encouraged to insure high-value items. The cost of insurance may be included in the shipping fee if clearly stated.

5. International Shipping

Availability: Sellers may choose whether to offer international shipping.

Customs and Duties: Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes incurred for international shipments.

Restrictions: Sellers and buyers must comply with all international shipping regulations and restrictions.

6. Address Accuracy

Buyer Responsibility: Buyers are responsible for providing accurate shipping addresses.

Address Changes: Address changes after purchase are at the seller's discretion and may incur additional costs.

7. Lost or Damaged Items

Seller Responsibility: Sellers are responsible for items until they are delivered to the buyer.

Claims Process: In case of lost or damaged items, the seller should initiate a claim with the shipping carrier.

8. Prohibited Items

Sellers are prohibited from shipping items that violate our platform's policies or any applicable laws.

 

Return Policies

Return and Refund Policy

1. General Guidelines

Our Role: Crafter After acts as a facilitator between buyers and sellers. We do not take possession of or title to the items listed on our platform.

2. Return Eligibility

Buyers have [3] days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for quality concerns only. If a product’s quality does not match its description, buyers may initiate the return/refund process.  Otherwise, all sales are final. 

3. Return Process

Initiation: Buyers must initiate the return process and include photos of the purchased product’s condition within 3 days of receipt.  Return/refund requests and photos can be sent to info@crafterafter.com with RETURN in the subject line.   4.

4. Reason for Return: Buyers are required to provide a reason for the return.

Shipping: Sellers are responsible for return shipping costs in cases of inaccurate descriptions

5. Refunds

Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after the seller receives the returned item.

Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

6. Prohibited Practices

Misuse of the return system, including frequent returns or false claims, may result in account suspension or termination.
